All photo submissions will be sent via this website (see submission page). We encourage you to also post on your blog.
If you do not submit a photo for a particular week, you will be scored a zero for that week.
There are two types of contests: Elimination-Style and Total-Run Average.
Elimination-style: Scores will be cumulative as the weeks progress. The top scorers will continue the to next week. (Exact number dependent on how many contestants and which week.)
Total-Run Average: No elimination. Weekly scores will be averaged. Top 2 scorers at Week 5 will be First and Second place.
All challenges are posted before the contest officially starts, along with all challenge dates. You can submit your photos ANY time before the final submission date. This means you can submit early. You also cannot claim that you did not know when a challenge was due or what the challenge was.
All photos will be revealed publicly after the final day of each week's submission time frame (deadlines are Wednesday night, 11:59pm New York time, photos will be made public on Thursday mornings by approximately 12:15am).
Voting and Scoring will begin as soon as photos go public on Thursday morning and must be completed by Sunday afternoon. Results are posted late Sunday night, early Monday morning. This means that you will already be entering the next week's challenge on Thursday while you are voting and judges are scoring the previous week. We do not recommend waiting for the scores to come out before submitting for the next week.
OOC Notes
OOC: Any player that controls a character as a judge will not enter a character as a contestant.
OOC: While we won't spend all day comparing player info, we would prefer that players not enter multiple characters into the contest. If you do enter multiple characters, if both characters win, the second place prize will be awarded to the next highest scoring character that has a different player.*
OOC: Regarding faceclaims - We are not going to be dictators about it, but part of the challenge is finding photos that actually resemble your faceclaim. We don't want to see Kate Upton one week and Tyra Banks the next.
